Meet Tin and Beverly who travelled to Newfoundland from Calgary, Alberta...to get engaged...Tin had it planned all along.
Beverly thought she was going on a hike. Tin had other plans. I was waiting. Tin and I collaborated on this shoot via email prior to our meeting for the first time at Cape Spear. We meet at the cafe while Beverly was taking photos on the way up. I had arrived earlier to scope out a location and told Tin where to set up their picnic. I then cruised the area pretending to be a tourist. After Tin and Beverly got set up I went over and said I was a local photographer and could I take a photo of them. This allowed Tin to present the ring and ask for his brides hand in married. It was an amazing moment. xo
I love taking photos and especially the once in a lifetime events that cannot be created again. Tin and Beverly got engaged at Cape Spear, Newfoundland on June 25, 2023. A surprise for the bride to be, a thrilling moment for the groom to be and a wonderful photo experience for me. I love my job!! ;)
Cape Spear is an exceptional location. It is the most easterly location in Canada. It's windswept landscape, lighthouses, and unique features make is a wonderful rugged place for weddings, elopements, engagements and picnics.
